In-between the sessions your coach will send you additional material and answer the question that came up.
We use only scientifically proven methods in our work - Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Co-Active Coaching. Telesis Coaching follows these principles:
- Clear structure. Each session has a topic that focuses on a specific question that needs to be adressed right here and right now.
- Mindfulness and self observation. Mindfulness is about paying attention with openness, curiosity and flexibility to what is going on within and around you. By becoming aware of your thoughts, feelings and emotions you will learn how to accept them and defuse from them if needed so that you can live your life based on your values.
Taking action. The goal of the coaching is to learn new skills that will help you to cope with difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions, so that you can move towards your goals and live a rich, full and meaningful life.
Practical tools. The most important part of the progress takes part in-between the sessions. You will have practical assignments that will help to cultivate change, supported by additional reading materials and filling of worksheets. The goal is to offer you tools that you can use independently and that will move you closer towards living by your values and reaching your goals.
- Long term results. When you know what works for you, it will be clear what you need to do in order to continue the process. You can use everything you will learn during and in between the sessions over and over again. That helps you to continue your progress after we have finished our sessions.
